Comforters, duvets & toppers — US sizes
Comforters are cut wider than the mattress so they drape rather than sit on top. If you sleep with a partner who pulls, size up one step.

Light
Warm rooms and hot sleepers. A summer weight, and the right choice for anyone who sleeps hot year round or keeps a warm bedroom.
Medium
Most homes, year round. Our most popular weight. Suits an averagely heated bedroom and most couples who disagree about the window.
Warm
Cold rooms and deep winter. For unheated or north-facing bedrooms, older houses, and anyone who sleeps cold.
Duvets — UK sizes
A duvet made to UK sizes is sized to the bed it covers rather than the mattress it sits on, which is why a Double duvet is square.

Baby & child
Baby and child pieces are made in four sizes. Down is warm for its weight, so a piece for a cot is deliberately light.

Duvet covers & bed linen
Covers are cut to the finished insert, not the mattress, so a Queen cover fits a Queen comforter with no bunching at the corners.

Not every set is made in every size. The sizes offered for a particular cover are listed with the cover itself.
Pillows
Pillow sizes are standard across the trade, so a case or sham cut for a Standard pillow fits any Standard pillow. Down and feather pillows are measured flat and unfilled loft varies, so allow a little ease when choosing a case.

How to measure
Measure the mattress across the top, then down one side including the depth you want covered. A deeper mattress, a topper, or a bed with no footboard all argue for the next size up. Every figure on this page is the finished piece after filling, measured flat.
